Admit it…
you’ve fallen in love.
It's the reason you have an entire album in your phone filled with images of early morning hangouts and long weekends on the trail. You’d do just about anything to spend more time together.
I don't blame you. I’m in love too and have been for most of my life.
How could we not? Horses are some of the most beautiful animals in the world. They display emotion in every look, every movement, and have personalities bigger than themselves.
But your photos stuck in the cloud don’t do them justice and haven’t quite captured the character of your horse.
That’s where I come in.
Ever since I can remember, I’ve wanted a horse of my own and finally got my chance with Flash. I was five, and he was too so you can imagine it was a short lived match, but then I got Riley.
Every equestrian I know can trace their big life moments back to a single horse, including me. Riley taught me more about how to be confident in myself than any book ever could.
She did more than help shape the woman I am today, she showed me the importance of equestrian photography.
With every photo I have of her, I can still feel her hot breath in my hand as she snooped for treats.
Each one of my horse’s that followed in Riley’s footsteps impacted my life in a big way.
And the photos I have of them help me remember every movement, every quirk, every feeling they gave me and I can help you remember yours.
Credentials
Channeling my passion for horses through photography has allowed me to tell more than my own story with horses. It's given me opportunities I never thought possible, like being published in national magazines and even co-hosted the 2020 Equine Photography Retreat.
You can find my work in the AQHA's the Quarter Horse Journal, APHA's CHROME, and the PLAID horse.
