High School Senior Portraits with Horses Wisconsin

Boho Themed Senior Photos

Hot and muggy summertime sunshine, wildflower princesses and not one, not two, but three beautiful horses? Sounds like another summertime session with my lovely senior representatives! If these girls look familiar, you probably remember seeing them from our 1950’s throwback session. But on this warm and gorgeous day in July we traded retro lights and roadside diners for a sun-kissed forest and kept it current with bohemian vibes in a fairytale setting. The day was heavy with heat, but the sun shone radiantly—nature’s spotlight illuminating the beautiful setting we found ourselves in.

Our session was held in Lena, Wisconsin on Seidl Farms. My senior rep Savanha calls Seidl Farms home, and it’s here where she and her family raise stunning Gypsy Horses. The stallion and two mares featured in the shoot are some of the gorgeous horses belonging to the Seidl’s, and in addition to horses, the family keeps busy with beef cattle, pigs, and two massive Newfoundlands. The Seidl’s have exciting plans for their farm—in the near future, they’ll be breeding purebred Newfoundlands as well!

Preparing for the session was almost as fun as the shoot itself. The very talented Angela Marie did all the hair and makeup, and she did an amazing job transforming the girls into bohemian princesses fit for their own fairytale. The looks wouldn’t be complete without the decadent flower crowns handmade by Vagabond Fleur. I provided the clothes and jewelry, and Savanha’s mom set us out the most amazing spread of mouth-watering snacks, including apples, berries, pineapple, sausage, cheese, and crackers. We felt like celebrities with so many tasty choices!

The girls each took turns getting individual photos done while everyone else mingled behind the scenes—laughs were definitely had and snacks were rapidly consumed. Then it was time for the group pictures—one of the highlights of our senior sessions. Laughter was inevitable as they lined up with the horses and candid shots ensued. Friendship, summertime, and good vibes all around!

This shoot wouldn’t have been a success without my senior representatives, and I'm always looking for enigmatic seniors to join my team! If you are graduating in the class of 2020 and feel like this could be a good opportunity for you, please contact me to learn more about what the title involves. My senior reps come away with an experience they can cherish forever, as well as memories captured forever in stunning photographs. I can’t wait to see what your future has in store!
