Senior Pictures & Family Photos
Fox Valley Lutheran High School Class of 2020
It’s no secret that I love working with families. From couples to parents with children, I find a lot of satisfaction in producing priceless keepsakes for families to cherish forever. Growing up in a large family myself, I still cherish the opportunity to get updated family photos with the most important people in my life. Working with the Caswell family evoked similar emotions—I could tell that their bonds run deep. Every picture captured was a testimony to their loving relationship. My story with the Caswell family began when Mark, the father of the family, reached out to me to inquire about senior photos for his four (yes, four!) graduates. The Caswell quadruplets were wrapping up high school and it was time to start talking about senior pictures. As we moved closer to the session, our conversation began to morph into one about family photos. Mark informed me that the family hadn’t had pictures taken since the quads were just babies, meaning the youngest Caswell hadn’t yet been born. It was the perfect opportunity to update family photos in addition to capturing senior pictures. I met the Caswell family on their spacious and beautiful property in Neenah, Wisconsin. My husband Chris came along to help behind the scenes and Angela of Angela Marie Makeup and Artistry came to do the girls’ hair. The Caswell family is a warm and welcoming bunch, and they extended their hospitality to my team and I. They also made sure everyone was included, from their friends to the foreign exchange students staying with them. Even Grandma was involved! It was a beautiful day, if not a little chilly, and perfect for our time spent outside. There were a lot of us mingling about and the day definitely kept me on my toes. It was a challenge to incorporate family photos and individual senior pictures for four of the kids into one session, but I think I speak for everyone when I say it was a lot of fun. The kids were all about including some of their passions into their pictures—from horses to motorcycles! It was a blast getting to know each of them as individuals as we moved throughout our session. I loved spending time with the Caswell family and left with wonderful memories of a beautiful day. I hope they will cherish their family photos and senior pictures for years to come, and I can’t wait to hear about all the exciting things life no doubt has in store for them. Family is such an integral part of our lives, but it’s no doubt that life moves quickly. Professional photos are a great way to freeze these special moments in time, and I look forward to helping your family capture those memories.
