Amarra and Her Boys | Equestrian Portrait Session

It was a hot, sunny summer Wisconsin day when I headed to Black Creek, WI, for a horse and rider session for Amarra and her boyfriend, Al. This is a photoshoot we had talked about for a couple of years, and I was so excited to finally get a chance to have her and her geldings in front of my camera.

Amarra is a barrel racer with her two geldings, Striker and Zeus. These two have carried Amarra to several checks and plenty of fun over the years.

When she’s not heading out to barrel races, you’ll find her working at her business, Dialectic Equine Massage.
