Today, I'm thrilled to recount the wonderful experience of a senior photoshoot with the talented Erin and her two beloved mares, Shifter and Miley. Nestled in the heart of Findlay, OH, this photoshoot was a celebration of equestrian passion and the beauty of new beginnings.
Erin's deep connection with her horses was evident from the moment we arrived at the picturesque setting of her barn. With its rustic charm and the soft glow of the evening sunlight filtering through the trees, it was the perfect backdrop for our session.
Shifter, Erin's dark chestnut quarter horse mare, exuded strength and grit as she effortlessly performed reining maneuvers under Erins guidance. Even more impressive, this was done bareback and bridleless. Watching them navigate loping circles and precise spins was like witnessing a dance between horse and rider, a testament to the trust and bond they shared.
Miley, the bay roan quarter horse mare, was a bit younger but no less impressive. With her gentle demeanor and versatile skills in both English and Western riding, she added a touch of youthful exuberance to our photoshoot. Together, Erin and her mares painted a portrait of harmony and mutual respect that was truly inspiring to witness.
As the golden hour bathed the outdoor sand arena in a warm, ethereal glow, we captured countless moments of joy and connection between Erin and her equine companions. From candid shots of laughter and shared snuggles to posed portraits that radiated elegance and poise, each image told a story of friendship and devotion.
One of the highlights of the day was seeing Erin's equestrian journey come to life through her choice of outfits. From riding gear that reflected her passion for reining, to a stunning Western-inspired dress from my client wardrobe, each ensemble added depth and personality to her senior pictures, creating a visual narrative that was as unique as she is.
As the sun dipped below the horizon and we bid farewell to Findlay, I was thankful for the opportunity to capture such precious memories. Erin, Shifter, and Miley had welcomed me into their world with open arms, allowing me to witness moments of beauty and connection that will be cherished for years to come.
