There’s something special about celebrating a relationship you have with a horse like no other! I got to visit with Taylor and her two big, beautiful boys: Sheldon and Kairo. Horse and rider sessions like this never fail to inspire me and remind me what I love about working with pairs like these.

Taylor and her big chestnut, affectionately called Shelly, make a handsome pair! Big bodied with the cutest crooked strip and birdcatcher spots (how cool to see!), Sheldon was an impressive presence and the perfect gentleman! He and Taylor regularly take the jumper rings by storm, showing the other competitors how you really do knees-to-nose.

We were also joined by her beautiful bay boy Kairo and her mom, Jill, as we enjoyed a sunny Florida day. Taylor is a devoted athlete who truly puts her love of the horse first. Her respect and passion for her equine partners made my heart so happy!
