Down Town Green Bay Senior Portraits

As someone with strong family ties and deep roots here in Wisconsin, I love meeting other families with similar backgrounds. When I was approached by the family of one of my senior representatives interested in a family session, I couldn’t have been more excited. I don’t believe that getting pictures taken should be stressful or exhausting, rather, fun and exciting! And there is something so special about spending a day with a family who feels the same way. I’d like to introduce all of you to the Siedl’s!

But first, let’s talk a little about my senior representative Savanha. I had been looking forward to doing her senior pictures for a while, so when the time finally came it was very exciting for both of us. Savanha is an awesome girl with a bright future, and having her on my team was a special experience. She is exactly what I look for in my senior representatives—outgoing, fun, and adventurous! Her senior pictures highlight her beautiful personality and she was such a natural in front of the camera, nailing every pose we tried. She looked stunning, and as always, Angela Marie Makeup Artistry did a phenomenal job with hair and makeup. Savanha was positively glowing—no flash required!

We drove around to different locations in downtown Green Bay, Wisconsin, which gave us a cool, urban background to work with. Driving to and from the neat little spots we found was so much fun, and there was no shortage of laughter as we scouted out some good locations. Savanha is great company and we were constantly sharing stories and making jokes. The day was warm and sunny, the perfect match for our mood.

After spending so much time with Savanha this past summer, I was thrilled to get to photograph her family. She has a brother and two twin sisters, and along with their parents, it was such a fun group! You may remember that our bohemian senior representative group session took place on the Seidl family property, where they breed, raise, and sell Gypsy Vanner Horses. They are also hoping to breed Newfoundlands soon, and learning about their family farm makes it clear that it would be an exciting and dynamic place to grow up!

Our family session took place at the Chase Stone Barn, a historic location in Pulaski, Wisconsin. The barn was built in 1903 using field stones by a family that immigrated to the United States from Germany in 1867. Today the structure is a beautiful testimony to the past and a rustic landmark in Wisconsin. Our family session was relaxed and fun, and it was wonderful watching the love among the family. The pictures really showcase their special bond, and in years to come it will be fun for the family to look back on this time in their life and call to mind old and cherished memories.

If you are a senior, what do you want to incorporate into your senior photos? Senior pictures are a testimony to your life as a young person. They also signify the ending of one chapter in your life and the beginning of a new one. Or are you a family looking to showcase your unique relationship with one another? Family photographs are a great way to encapsulate a special time in your life, regardless of what may be going on. As your photographer, I can’t wait to give you the pictures that you’ll be proud to display in your home and cherish forever. Let’s talk!
