Foals, foals, foals! | Horse + Rider Session

Okay, excuse me while I stop crying from cuteness long enough to write about this session! I always love working with Ava, so when she asked if I would get some photos of her foals, you know I jumped at the chance. Just look at the babies!

These two are homebred foals from her mounts Isabella (a stunning, elegant gray mare) and Baby C (a beefcake of a bay) and are already showing traits from their parents, so I know they will be special. They were carried by recipient mares and will grow up to be show jumpers. If the jets they showed during this session are any indication, they won’t be beat in the jump-offs!

Bubbles the bay filly had personality to boot. She treated us to a runway show of her stride and the cutest lip curl ever. Of course, she was sure to throw in the classic mare ear pin to make sure we knew she means business.

Nyx the gray colt spent his time leaping and playing and showing off his spunky personality. Can’t you just picture him sailing over jumps like it’s effortless? He made sure to get some kisses and cuddles after we all watched him show off for the camera.
